Helping children get fixed on Jesus.
Is there anything more that we want for our children than for them to know and love Jesus?
Here at Center Church, we seek to create a Children's Ministry fixed on Jesus: from the love and care they receive in the nursery to every lesson in our curriculum.
Our Children’s Ministry exists to serve the parents of the church as they raise and instruct their kids. Our desire is for parents to engage with Jesus in the main service knowing their kids are being shown Jesus' love and learning about Him in a meaningful and life-changing way in Children's Ministry. Each Sunday, children from 6 months to 5th grade are taught by engaging, friendly, helpful teachers who teach them about Jesus Christ. We strive to teach them in a fun, age-appropriate way so that they can understand the truth about Jesus. Is there anything else more important than this?
Check In
We think your children are very special, and we aim to provide a safe and secure environment for them. Upon arrival for service, visit the Children's Ministry Check-In Station. If you’re visiting with us for the first time, we will register your family using the Guest Check-In computer and print you a set of parent and child stickers which will be used for pick up at the end of the service.
Children 6 months through 4 years old can proceed directly to their classes to be cared for during the service.
Kindergarten through 5th grade children will remain with their parents for the first half of the service (the singing, prayer & announcements) and then are released to their respective classes just prior to the sermon.
Classes
We have designed classes with age appropriate care and instruction:
- Nursery: 6mos - 2yrs
- Toddler: 2 - 3yrs
- Preschool (3 & 4 year olds)
- Kinder - 2nd Grade
- 3rd - 5th Grade
Safety & Wellness
All lead teachers must be members of Center Church. All volunteers must submit to a thorough background check and undergo safety training via Ministry Safe.
Being sick is no fun! And we all know how difficult it is when your child falls ill. In order to help prevent the spread of sickness, we please ask that all families keep sick children at home if they present or have had any of the following symptoms within 24 hours prior to the Sunday service:
- Fever
- Diarrhea
- Persistent runny nose with substantial and/or non clear discharge
- Hacking or wet-sounding cough
- Vomiting
If you're unsure or questioning whether or not to bring your child to class, please err on the safer side and keep them home. We appreciate you helping us pursue optimal health conditions by keeping your child out of Children's Ministry until they are fully well.
